ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, including the Borough of Westport, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast, being the south-western corner of Section 15, Block V, Brighton Survey District, and being a point on the boundary of the Grey Electric Power District hereinbefore described and proceeding generally easterly, north-easterly, easterly, and southerly along the boundary of the said Grey Electric Power District to its intersection on the eastern boundary of Block X, Inangahua Survey District, with the boundary of the Buller County as described in Gazette, 1922, page 231; thence generally south-easterly, north-easterly, and north-westerly along the boundary of the said Buller County to the sea coast; thence generally south-westerly along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes subject as to Lot 289, D.P. 39428, to the sewerage easement contained in K. 65928, Auckland Registry, and subject as to Lot 211, D.P. 18398, to Proclamation 14391, Auckland Registry, defining the middle line of a railway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of April 1959.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway (Palmerston North Deviation).

Declaring Areas in the Rotorua Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the areas described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Rotorua Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, County of Whakatane, containing 120 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 5, Block VI, Awaateatua Survey District (Matata Domain), and proceeding easterly along the shores of the Bay of Plenty, southerly along the left bank of the Tarawera River and westerly along the northern boundary of Section 4, Block VI aforesaid (Matata Lagoon), to the south-eastern corner of Section 5 aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the South Auckland Land District, County of Whakatane, containing 10 acres, more or less, bounded towards the south-west and north generally by Section 4, Block VI, Awaateatua Survey District (Matata Lagoon), and the Tarawera River Entrance, towards the east by the Tarawera River Diversion and towards the south by the Tauranga-Whakatane State Highway.

As the same is shown on plan numbered 52/60 and deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
