Land Held for a Workers’ Hostel Set Apart for State Housing
Purposes in Block X, Christchurch Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a workers’ hostel, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of April 1959.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

Being

A. R. P.
1 0 34·8 Part Lot 24, D.P. 15781, being part Rural Section 108; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 39·7 Part Lot 24, D.P. 15781, being part Rural Section 108; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158581 (S.O. 9459) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of April 1959.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey District, Auckland R.D., containing 1 rood, being all the land on D.P. 27244, being part Allotment 189, Parish of Kirikiri oa. All certificate of title, Volume 694, folio 10, Auckland Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 6·7 perches, situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being all the land on D.P. 43343. All certificate of title, Volume 1197, folio 45 (limited as to parcels), Auckland Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 37·9 perches, situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 2, D.P. 14961, being part Clendon’s Grant; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158522 (S.O. 41207) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
