Land Held for a Workers’ Hostel Set Apart for State Housing
Purposes in Block X, Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a workers’ hostel, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of April 1959.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

1 0 34·8 Part Lot 24, D.P. 15781, being part Rural Section 108; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 39·7 Part Lot 24, D.P. 15781, being part Rural Section 108; coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158581 (S.O. 9459) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
