Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
SECTION 3, Block XIII, and Section 1, Block XVI, Hastings Survey District, Sections 15, 16, and 17, Block VII, and Section 1, Block XI, Whitianga Survey District: Area. 6,754 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less. Shown on plan No. 23/83 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 20632⁴, 28090, 30744, 39374.)

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY
RESERVE 4992 (formerly Run 136A (R.S. 36962) and riverbank reserve), situated in Block X, Grey Survey District, Kowai County: Area, 318 acres, more or less. Shown bordered red on plan No. 136/25 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington. (S.O. Plan 5923.)

RUN 302, situated in Blocks XII, XIII, XVI, XXXIII, and XXXIV, Eyre Survey District, Southland County: Area, 7,050 acres approximately. Shown on plan No. 192/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Whangarei, Subject to a Drainage Easement

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes, subject to the drainage easement contained in K. 59783, Auckland Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of April 1959.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 26·26 perches, situated in the Borough of Whangarei, Auckland R.D., and being Lot 11, D.P. 38070, and being formerly part certificate of title, Volume 1586, folio 78, Auckland Registry.

Declaring an Area in the Auckland Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Auckland Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 28, Block IV, Ohinemuri Survey District. Area: 79 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less. Part register book, Volume 1212, folio 43 (B. K. Bjerring, licensee). As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/440, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 38274.)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Gisborne - East Coast Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT—WAIKOHU COUNTY
SECTION 5, Block XVI, Motu Survey District, Area: 1,018 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 113, folio 228, Gisborne Land Registry. River Bank Reserve, being Crown land reserved from sale under section 110 of the Land Act 1892. Area: 4 acres. Total area: 1,022 acres 2 roods 21 perches. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.A. 52/469 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
