Declaring Watchman Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be County Road

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 18th day of March 1959
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay County, situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., known as Watchman Road commencing at a point on the Gisborne-Napier via Hangaroa State Highway at the north-eastern corner of Section 17; thence proceeding north-westerly for a distance of 65 chains measured along the centre line of the road to a point in line with the western boundary of the Westshore Aerodrome, shown on S.O. plan 2142; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158472 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Directing the Sale of Land in the City of Lower Hutt

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, that land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 38·19 perches, situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., being part Section 4, Block LX, Hutt Valley Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158067 (S.O. 24176) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for street.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Grand Vue Road in the Borough of Manurewa, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 18th day of March 1959

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Manurewa Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 158080 referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 40 ft from the centre line of the said street.

That proposed street in the Borough of Manurewa, containing by admeasurement 38 perches, more or less, being part Lot 9, D.P. 12985, being part Clendon’s Grant; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158080 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Storey Avenue in the City of Hamilton, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Hamilton City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 158396 referred to in the said Schedule, excepting Lots 5 to 10 (inclusive) of the subdivision shown on the said plan, within a distance of 40 ft from the centre line of the said street.
