Point, the Reef ton-Waipara State Highway, a water conservation reserve (Gazette, 1907, page 998) by Section 210, Block XIV aforesaid, and by a right line from the north-western corner of that section to the southernmost corner of Section 15, Block X aforesaid; towards the north-west, south-west, north-west, south-west, and south-east by Section 15, Block X aforesaid; and towards the south-west by a public road.
Excluding therefrom all public roads and that area of provisional State forest (15 acres) (Gazette, 1930, page 3123).
As shown on plan No. 113/46 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Inangahua County containing 18,700 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks X, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Reef ton Survey District, Block XIII, Burnett Survey District, Blocks II, III, and IV, Waitahu Survey District, and Block I, Rahu Survey District, being portion of provisional State forest (31,525 acres) (Gazette, 1920, page 2111) and portion of provisional State forest (3,960 acres) (Gazette, 1920, page 2112) and bounded generally as follows:
Towards the north by the southern boundaries of Blocks VII and VIII, Reef ton Survey District; towards the east, north-east, and south-east by permanent State forest (Gazette, 1936, page 968) and Garvey Creek; towards the south-west by Section 12 of Square 126, Section 2, Block III, Waitahu Survey District, Section 170 of Square 131, Section 7, Block III aforesaid, and by the north-eastern side of the Reef ton-Waipara State Highway; towards the north generally by the southern boundary of Block XIV, Reef ton Survey District, Section 9, Block XIV aforesaid, and by the southern boundaries of Blocks XIV and XV, Reef ton Survey District; towards the south-west generally by Crown land, being the south-western boundary of provisional State forest (31,525 acres) (Gazette, 1920, page 2111); towards the north-west generally by Sections 72, 69, 67, and 64, the abutment of a public road, and Sections 60 and 61, all of Block X, Reef ton Survey District; towards the north-east by Crown land, being the north-eastern boundary of provisional State forest (31,525 acres) aforesaid; towards the west generally by the Waitahu River; and towards the north-west by the north-western boundary of the aforesaid provisional State forest. As shown on plan No. 113/45 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in Westland County containing 10,142 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being Reserve 1633 (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1920, page 2843), Reserve 1716, (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1923, page 7), and part Reserve 1679 (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1919, page 1286), situated in Blocks XI, XII, and XVI, Mount One One Survey District, Block XIII, Wanganui Survey District, Block IV, Whataroa Survey District, and Block I, Poerua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east, north, and north-east generally by a public road along the left bank of the Wanganui River; towards the south-east by Reserve 774 and Rural Section 3612; towards the north-east by Rural Sections 3612, 3613, 3614, 3615, and 3616, the south-western side of La Fontaine Road and Rural Sections 3022 and 2267; towards the south-east by the abutment of Haddock Road, Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 496, and part Rural Section 169; towards the south by Rural Sections 2247 and 2246; towards the east by Rural Section 2246 aforesaid; towards the south generally by Petersen Road, a closed road, part Rural Section 2249, and again by Petersen Road; towards the south-west by Rural Section 2829, part Rural Section 2830, Reserve 1935 and Rural Section 2921; towards the south-east by Rural Section 2921 and the north-western boundary of that section produced to the Poerua River; towards the south-west by the Poerua River; towards the north-west by the sea coast; towards the south-west, south-east, and north-east by Reserve 59; and towards the north-west by the sea coast.
Also all that area in Westland County containing 18,069 acres 3 roods 27 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1634 (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1920, page 2843), situated in Blocks XI, XIV, and XV, Mount One One Survey District, and Blocks II, III, IV, VI, VII, and VIII, Whataroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by the left bank of the Poerua River; towards the south-east, north-east, and north-west by Reserve 1935; towards the north-east by Rural Sections 4003 and 2818; towards the south-east by Rural Section 1833; towards the south by the Greymouth-Waiho State Highway and Reserve 1194; towards the south-east by Reserve 1194 aforesaid and the Greymouth-Waiho State Highway; towards the south-west and west by Rural Section 2356 and Reserve 1006; towards the south-east and east by Reserve 1006; towards the south-east and south-west generally by the right bank of the Whataroa River; towards the west by Reserve 2019; towards the south-west by Reserve 2019 and Rural Sections 2432 and 2431; towards the south and east by Reserve 2018; towards the south-west by the right bank of the Whataroa River; towards the west by Rural Section 2465; towards the north and west generally by Reserve 993; and towards the north-west by Crown land.
As shown on plan No. 131/15 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.
