A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zea-
land, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule
hereto as provisional State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Inangahua County containing 2,750 acres,
more or less, situated in Blocks X, XIV, and XV, Reefton
Survey District, and bounded generally as follows:

Towards the north by Section 77, Block X, Reefton Survey
District, the abutment of a public road and Section 72,
Block X aforesaid; towards the north-east and south generally
by provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, pages 2111 and
2112); towards the north-west by Section 9, Block XIV,
Reefton Survey District, and a public road; towards the
south generally by Stony Creek and Lankey’s Creek to a
point opposite the south-western boundary of Section 9, Block
XIV aforesaid; towards the north-east by a right line from
the last-mentioned point to the north-western corner of
Section 9 aforesaid, and by that section towards the south
by provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 2112);
towards the south-west generally by the Reefton-Waipara State
Highway, Section 245, Block XIV aforesaid, again by the
aforesaid State highway, again by Section 245, Block XIV
aforesaid, and again by the aforesaid State highway to peg
numbered XXXVI on S.O. Plan 9905; towards the north-
west by a right line from the aforesaid peg to the southern-
most corner of Section 85, Town of Blacks Point, by that
section and the abutment of a public road and by a right
line to and across Murray Creek; towards the west generally
by a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 18,
Town of Blacks Point, by Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, and 13,
Town of Blacks Point, the abutment of a public road,
Sections 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Town of Blacks
