Land Taken for an Aerodrome in the City of Wellington

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an aerodrome; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of March 1959.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 27·2 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being Lot 4, Block IV, D.P. 1950, being part Section 7, Evans Bay District. All certificate of title, Volume 195, folio 18, Wellington Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land containing 6 acres and 20·15 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being part land on D.P. 3177, being part Sections 14 and 15, Watts Peninsula District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158244 (S.O. 24224) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
