A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
4ยท3 perches.
Being Lot 23, D.P. 44499, being part Allotment 37, Parish of Titirangi, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 253, folio 71, Auckland Registry.
Situated in the Borough of Mount Albert.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of December 1958.

Declaring an Area in the Wellington Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Wellington Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICTโ€”WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY
PART Section 215, Taratahi Plain Block, situated in Block X, Tiffin Survey District.
Area: 41 acres and 33 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 273, folio 204, Wellington Registry. (S.O. Plan 15219.)
As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/468 and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The Marlborough Harbour Board Election Order 1958

At the Government House at Wellington this 3rd day of December 1958
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to sections 19 and 23 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Marlborough Harbour Board Election Order 1958.
  2. The election of the first members of the Marlborough Harbour Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board), as constituted by section 5 of the Marlborough Harbour Act 1958, shall be held on Saturday, the 14th day of February 1959.
  3. For the purposes of that election and of subsequent elections of members of the Board the Awatere County Council is hereby selected and appointed to be the principal authority for the election of two members of the Board by the electors of the County of Awatere and of the East Coast Riding of the County of Kaikoura.
  4. Wednesday, the 25th day of February 1959, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and the Borough Council Chambers at Picton are hereby appointed to be the date, time, and place respectively for the first meeting of the Marlborough Harbour Board to be held after the election.

The North Auckland Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

LICENCE

  1. This order may be cited as the North Auckland Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958.
  2. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the North Auckland Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put in place, and use the electric lines, and to construct the electrical works described in the First Schedule hereto.
  3. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  4. The licence hereby conferred is subject to comply by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence Provided that the licensee shall not by virtue of this clause be required, except in the normal course of alteration, repair or maintenance, to reconstruct in conformity with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned, any existing electric line work which conformed to the regulations in force at the time of the construction thereof, and has not become hazardous line as described in the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
  5. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of Regulation 21 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
  6. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined continue in force until the 2nd day of December 1972.
  7. The Orders in Council, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, authorising the licensee to erect and use electric lines are hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE
ELECTRIC LINES AND WORKS
(1) Lines and works for the transmission and supply electrical energy within the North Auckland Electric Power District as defined in the following Proclamations:

(2) A line for the transmission of electrical energy through that portion of the licensee's outer area being the Borough of Whangarei, commencing at the western boundary of the Borough of Whangarei at a point on the western boundary of Section 2, part Horahora No. 2 Block; and proceeding thence in an easterly direction to the north-eastern corner of Section 3, part Horahora No. 2 Block; thence in a northerly and then northerly direction to and along the western boundary of Fourth Avenue and the extension thereof to a point in Section 16, Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei thence proceeding in a north-westerly direction by a right line to a point near the middle of the eastern boundary of Section 8, Russell Road; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Russell Road to a road reserve in part Section 1; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of Section 3 where that section adjoins the Whau Road; thence easterly along the Whau Road to the north-western corner of Section 2; thence across the road and Harrison's Railway to and along the northern boundary of the railway reserve to the eastern boundary of the Kamo Road; thence northerly along that boundary of the former boundary of the Whangarei Borough and Town District of Kamo, the said transmission line being more particularly delineated by means of a red line on a plan marked P.W.D. 96596 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
