A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of road in the South Auckland Land District containing 1 rood 33·3 perches, situated in Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through Sections 86, 87, 88, 93, 95, and S.S. 12, Town of Waihi; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157720 (S.O. 39136) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of December 1924 and published in Gazette, 11 December 1924, Volume III, page 2898, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1482, defining the middle line of a portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1·37 perches, situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 2, D.P. 15073, and part Lot 4, D.P. 15329, being part Section 47, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157678 (S.O. 24140) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of December 1958.

PURSUANT to section 3 (2) of the Post and Telegraph Amendment Act 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Postmaster-General, hereby appoints
Bernard James McIvor
to be a member of the Post and Telegraph Staff Tribunal on the nomination of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Association (Incorporated), and
John Barnett Darnell
to be a member of the Post and Telegraph Staff Tribunal to represent the Postmaster-General, to hold office for a term of three years from the date of this appointment.
