LAKE COUNTY COUNCIL

Town AND Country Planning Act 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, in operation in the district of Wanaka, has become due for review, under section 30 of that Act, and is at present under revision accordingly.

A copy of the operative scheme and a statement of the changes proposed to be made therein has been deposited in the Council's office and may be inspected without fee by any person, who so requires, at any time during office hours.

Objections to the proposed changes of the scheme, in respect of any portion of the operative scheme which the Council proposes to confirm without any change, may be made by way of written notice in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, or to the like effect, and lodged at the office of the County Clerk marked "Objection to district scheme" at any time not later that the 5th day of February 1959.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

Resolution Pledging Special Rate

General Works Loan 1950, £58,800—£6,300 Portion

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of six thousand three hundred pounds (£6,300), authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the general development of the city, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought four one of a penny (.041d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dargaville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a town hall, the said Dargaville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal five four pence (.54d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Dargaville; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan No. 5, 1958, £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing workers' dwellings and for such other purposes as are permitted by section 348 of the Counties Act 1956, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of one one hundred and twenty-eighth of a penny (1/128d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the whole of the County of Waikato; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Reconstruction and Stormwater Drainage Loan 1958, £9,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of nine thousand pounds (£9,000) authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the abovementioned Act for reconstructing Totara Street and Russo Avenue and diverting the Nikau Street stream through the children's play area, the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one-third of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Eastbourne; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Passed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 23rd day of October 1958.

BOROUGH OF CROMWELL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Cromwell Borough War Memorial Hall Loan 1958, £14,500

THAT, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £14,500 authorised to be raised by the Cromwell Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of completing the Cromwell and District War Memorial Hall, the said Cromwell Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three and one-half pence (3½d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of the whole of the rateable property in the Borough of Cromwell, comprising the whole of the Borough of Cromwell as recorded on the Government valuation roll for the said borough on the 26th day of September 1958; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and that principal and interest shall be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years (30 years), or until such time as the said loan is fully paid off.

That the seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Cromwell was affixed hereto pursuant to a resolution of the Council passed on the 26th day of September 1958 in the presence of-

BOROUGH OF OAMARU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Oamaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000 authorised to be raised by the Oamaru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for installing stormwater drainage, reconstruction of streets, erecting a reservoir, extending or installing water reticulation, building a new treatment plant, and extending sewerage reticulation, the said Oamaru Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 1.91d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Oamaru, comprising the whole of the borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Oamaru Borough Council held on Tuesday, 28 October 1958.
