Notice of Meeting of Creditors

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of Keith Ross Ltd. will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the War Memorial Hall, Supper Room, Taupo, on Monday, the 10th day of November 1958, at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

Notice of General Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Parnell Pressers Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of the liquidator, Achilles House, Customs Street East, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 25th day of November 1958, at 11.30 o'clock in the forenoon:

(1) For the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanations thereof by the liquidator.

(2) To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:

"That the books and papers of the company shall be retained in the possession of the liquidator in accordance with the provisions of section 328 of the Companies Act 1955."

PURSUANT to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of the above company will be held at the liquidator's office, Balaclava Street, Wyndham, on Wednesday, 19 November 1958, at 2 p.m.

Creditors are required to forward to the liquidator any proof of debt or claims which they may have against the company on or before Friday, 14 November 1958, after which date no claims will be recognised.

HARDING CONSTRUCTION LTD.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTIONS

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Harding Construction Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by a duly signed entry in the minute book of the above company on the 20th day of October 1958, the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the company:

"1. That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue in business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily.

"2. Mr L. R. Willis of Auckland, public accountant, be appointed liquidator."

Notice is further given that, at a meeting of creditors of the above company held on the 29th day of October 1958, the following resolutions were passed:

"1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up and that the company be wound up as a creditors' voluntary winding up.

"2. That, pursuant to section 285 of the Companies Act 1955, Mr L. R. Willis, of Auckland, public accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.

"3. That no committee of inspection be appointed.

"4. That the remuneration of the liquidator be fixed in accordance with the scale fees of the New Zealand Society of Accountants."

Notice to Creditors to Prove

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Harding Construction Ltd. (in liquidation).

The liquidator of the Harding Construction Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 21st day of November 1958 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1956.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tuapeka (hereinafter called "the said local authority") proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely to provide a gravel pit, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the Kelso Post Office and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth their objections in writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk of the said local authority.

SCHEDULE

THAT piece of land containing 8 acres 3 roods 10 poles being part Section 1, Block III, Greenvale Survey District, included in certificate of title 29/114 and coloured orange on the aforementioned plan.
