Altering the Boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and section 31 of the Local Legislation Act 1955, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District by including within the said district the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District comprising part of the County of Whakatane, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the western boundary of the County of Whakatane as described in Gazette, 1957, page 808, with the southern boundary of Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, and proceeding easterly along that boundary and the southern boundaries of Blocks XII, Rotoma Survey District, and IX, X, XI, and XII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, to and southerly along the western boundaries of Allotments 33L, 41A 9D, the western and southern boundaries of 41B 10D, the southern boundaries of 41B 10C, 41B 9B, 43B 3, 43B 2, 43B 1, 41B 9A, all the aforesaid allotments being of the Parish of Rangitaiki, and the southern boundaries of a riverbank reserve, Section 12, Block II, Waimana Survey District, Lot 2, D.P. 35812, Allotments 3 and 5, Opouriao Settlement, and Lots 1 and 2, D.P. S. 2181, to the western boundaries of Block III, Waimana Survey District, crossing the Owhakatoro and Whakatane Rivers and intervening public roads; thence along the western and southern boundaries of Block III, Waimana Survey District, and the southern boundary of Block IV, Waimana Survey District, to the eastern boundary of the said Whakatane County; thence generally southerly, south-westerly, and northerly along the eastern, south-eastern, and western boundaries of the Whakatane County as described in Gazette, 1957, page 808, to and easterly down the middle of the Ngatamawhine Stream in Block III, Kaingaroa Survey District, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the land uplifted from State forest by, and fourteenthly described in subsection 2 of Section 29 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1953 and shown on S.O. 35574; thence along a right line to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of that land to and along the south-eastern boundary of Pokohu C No. 1 Block to its easternmost corner; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Block XV, Ruawahia Survey District, and along another right line to the intersection of the southern boundary of Block VII, Ruawahia Survey District, with the western boundary of the Whakatane County aforesaid; thence still northerly along that western boundary to the point of commencement, but not including in such area the Town District of Murupara nor any part of the Borough of Kawerau. As the said area is shown outlined in orange on the plan marked S.H.D. 496 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Altering the Boundaries of the Wairarapa Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Wairarapa Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of the Featherston County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in the middle of the mouth of the Waihingaia Stream, situated in Block VII, Mount Adams Survey District; thence northerly generally up the middle of that stream to the easternmost corner of Section 168, Pahaoa Block; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of that section and Section 213, the south-eastern and northern boundaries of Section 232, the northern boundaries of Sections 231 and 230, the eastern boundary of Section 227, the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of Section 223, the northern boundary of Section 222, the eastern boundary of Section 302, the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 301, all being sections of Pahaoa Block, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Makahika Stream; thence north-westerly down the middle of that stream and south-westerly down the middle of the Pahaoa River to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 302, Pahaoa Block; thence southerly to and along that boundary and the western boundaries of Sections 201, 203, 206, 207, and 208, all of Pahaoa Block, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Pahaoa River; thence westerly generally up the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 109, Pahaoa Block, to and along that boundary, the north-western boundary of Section 108, Pahaoa Block, and its production to the middle of the Rerewhakaaitu River; thence south-easterly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundaries of the land as shown on the plan numbered 5582, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence south-westerly generally to and along those boundaries and the western and south-western boundaries, as shown on that plan, to the northern boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 1126 deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of that Lot, the southern and western boundaries of Section 35S, Tuturumuri Settlement, the northern boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 5315 deposited as aforesaid, the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 6002 deposited as aforesaid, the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 5937 deposited as aforesaid, to the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI, Haurangi Survey District; thence south-westerly and westerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 2 and the south-eastern and part of the southern boundaries of Section 1, Block XVI aforesaid, the said part of the southern boundaries of Section 1, being also part of the southern boundary of Block XVI aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Section 25, Block IV, Kaiwaka Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of that section, across a public road, to and along the western boundaries of Sections 26, 12, 13, and 14, Block VIII, and Section 28, Block XI, Kaiwaka Survey District, to and along the western side of a public road, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 29, Block XI aforesaid, and a right line across that road to and along the said south-western boundary to the sea coast; thence north-easterly generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in red on the plan marked S.H.D. 493 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby incorporates the members of the society known as the Kaikohe Agricultural, Pastoral, and Horticultural Association, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted members of the said society agreeably to the rules of the said society and the provisions of the said Act, into a body corporate under the style and title of the Kaikohe Agricultural, Pastoral, and Horticultural Association.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Otorohanga County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of road in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District, Auckland R.D., containing 1 rood 25 perches, adjoining or passing through part Lot 2 of Section 3, and Lot 3, D.P. 4802, being part Section 4; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152423 (S.O. 37256) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
