PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a cemetery.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Gisborne Land District containing 1 acre, situated in Block II, Mata Survey District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., and being part Matahia No. 1 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154469 (S.O. 4831) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Boundaries of County of Piako and Borough of Morrinsville Altered

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares:

That, as on and from the 1st day of April 1958, the areas described in the First Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Piako and included in the Borough of Morrinsville.

That, as on and from the date aforesaid, the area described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Morrinsville and included in the County of Piako.

That the alteration of boundaries of the said county and the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF PIAKO AND INCLUDED IN BOROUGH OF MORRINSVILLE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Tahuna-Waharoa via Morrinsville Main Highway in Block II, Maungakawa Survey District, in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 524, being part Motumaho 2, and running north-easterly, south-easterly, and then south-westerly, to and along the north-western, north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1, to and along the boundary of the Borough of Morrinsville as described in Gazette, No. 47, of the 19th day of May 1921, page 1263, to the middle of the aforementioned highway; thence north-westerly along the middle of that highway to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in Blocks II and VI, Maungakawa Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the northern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 23950, being part Motumaho 2, and running generally easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 24498, to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 7445, and that boundary produced to the middle of Coronation Road, the aforesaid lots all being parts Motumaho 2 aforementioned; thence along the middle of Coronation Road aforesaid, and along the middle of Seales Road to and along the middle of the Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway, to the middle of the Piako River; thence up the middle of the said river and of the Waitakaruru Stream to the north-eastern side of Avenue Road; thence north-westerly along that side to the southern boundary of the Borough of Morrinsville as described in Gazette, No. 47, of the 19th day of May, 1921, page 1263; thence easterly, north-easterly, and westerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM BOROUGH OF MORRINSVILLE AND INCLUDED IN COUNTY OF PIAKO
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District, being the easternmost corner of Lot 7, D.P. 2465, being part Motumaho 2, and running south-easterly across Snell Street to and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 59 and 58, D.P. 4358, the south-western end of Page Street and the south-western boundary of Lot 56, D.P. 4358 aforesaid, to the easternmost corner of Lot 9, D.P. 16287; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 4, 3, 2, and part 1, D.P. 14206, the aforesaid lots all being parts Motumaho 2 aforementioned, to the north-eastern side of Avenue Road; thence north-westerly and then north-easterly along the boundary of the Borough of Morrinsville as described in Gazette, No. 47, of the 19th day of May 1921, page 1263, to the point of commencement.

Constituting Tokanui Secondary Urban Fire District

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Fire Services Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the urban area of Tokanui, situated in the County of Southland, to be a secondary urban fire district by the name of the Tokanui Secondary Urban Fire District.
