Easement Over Land Taken for the Purposes of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (South End) (65 m. to 66 m.) in Block XV, Hundalee Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement for the purposes of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (South End) (65 m. to 66 m.) is hereby taken over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of water pipes of such size or sizes as may from time to time be reasonably required, in, under, along, and over the said land, and to convey water through the said pipes, together with the further right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen to enter upon the said land from time to time, either with or without motor vehicles, implements, tools, machinery, material, and other things, for the purpose of opening up the soil and inspecting, repairing, renewing, and maintaining the said pipes in good and satisfactory order.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Marlborough Land District containing 16·3 perches, situated in Block XV, Hundalee Survey District, Marlborough R.D., being part Section 1, Haututu Maori Block L; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155213 (S.O. 4343) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of January 1958.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the interest in the land described in the First Schedule hereto held by Helen Christina Macrae, of Tupurupuru, widow, as administratrix, under and by virtue of Deferred Payment Licence, Volume 639, folio 36, Wellington Land Registry, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of January 1958.
