WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In accordance with the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £24,800 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of refinancing the unpaid balance of the Bank overdraft Loan 1957, £29,000, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·324d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Whangarei; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of six years, or until such loan is paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the said loan."

PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of municipal buildings, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three-tenths (3/10) of a penny in the pound upon all rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Papakura comprising the whole of the Borough of Papakura; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
New Fire Engine Loan 1958
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,200 authorised to be raised by the Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying for the purchase of a new fire engine, the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·192d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Putaruru; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council held on the 1st day of September 1958.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
New Theatre and Borough Offices Loan 1958, £33,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £33,000 authorised to be raised by the Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying for the cost of erecting a new theatre and Borough offices, the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 1·305d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Putaruru; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council held on the 1st day of September 1958.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Te Tumu Outlet (Additional) Loan 1957, £17,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £17,000 authorised to be raised by the former Kaituna River Board under the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 for the purpose of meeting the Board's share of the cost of completing the new outlet for the Kaituna River at Te Tumu and ancillary works connected therewith, the Tauranga County Council as successor to the said Board herein makes and levies a special rate of thirty decimal five pence (30·5d.) per acre upon all rateable property in the Kaituna River District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the first day of September 1958.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
General Works Loan 1950, £58,800, £10,000 Portion No. 2
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of general development in the City, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought seven (.07) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Pensioners' Flats Loan 1958, of £25,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building pensioners' flats, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one nought seven (.107) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Paekakariki Beach Erosion Loan 1958, £2,000
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 26th day of August 1958:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting anti-erosion works at Paekakariki Beach, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes a special rate of eleven pence in the pound (11d. in the £1) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Paekakariki Beach Erosion Special Rating Area No. 57 of the County of Hutt, comprising all that area in the Wellington Land District
