A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of land in the Hawke's Bay Land District, situated in Block XII, Maungaharuru Survey District, Hawke's Bay County, Hawke's Bay R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156990 (S.O. 3076) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, viz., a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 156953 referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL in the North Auckland Land District commencing at a point in the middle of a road being constructed along the foreshore of the Auckland Harbour by the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority, approximately 2 chains north of the north-easternmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 9096, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of 37·75 chains passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz: part Reclaimed Land Auckland Harbour (C.T. 59/66); part Lot A, D.P. 4027 (C.T. 214/69); Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 8709 (C.T. 214/71); part Freemans Bay Reclamation (C.T. 598/120); Lot 24, D.R.O. City 37 (C.T. 598/124); Lot 23, D.R.O. City 37 (C.T. 598/127); and terminating at a point in line with the middle of Sale Street approximately 1·1 chains south-west of the south-western corner of Allotment 12 of Section 41, City of Auckland, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156953 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
