Declaring Lands in Taranaki Land District Vested in the Taranaki Education Board as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Taranaki Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

PART Sections 1 and 2, Block X, Town of Ohura, situated in Block VI, Ohura Survey District: Area, 23·3 perches, more or less. Part certificates of title, Volume 56, folio 46, and Volume 63, folio 58. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/680A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 8917.)

Also part Lot 1, D.P. 6148, being part Section 46, Fitzroy District, situated in City of New Plymouth: Area, 2 acres and 16·1 perches, more or less. Part land in Proclamation 1725. A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Selwyn Plantation Board Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for plantation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

PART Reserve 1778 situated in Block VII, Fighting Hill Survey District: Area, 1 acre and 0·7 perch, more or less. (Shown as Lots 1 and 2, L.T. Plan 20035.) As shown on plan marked L. and S. 49135A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of September 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of Crown land in the Canterbury Land District containing 1 acre 3 roods 10·8 perches, situated in Block XII, Alford Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being Rural Section 38543.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 1 rood 5·3 perches, situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being Lot 16, D.P. 44093. Part certificate of title, Volume 1500, folio 64, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of September 1958.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of land in the North Auckland Land District, situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:
