CORRIGENDUM

IN the proclamation published in Gazette, 10 July 1958, No. 43, page 900, additional land taken for a public school in the Borough of Wairoa in the description of the area of 1 rood 7·3 perches for “Lot 44 and parts Lots 34 and 45, D.P. 3355” read “Lot 44 and parts Lots 43 and 45, D.P. 3355”.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland Land District, Vested in the Auckland Education Board as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Auckland Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Lot 2, D.P. 44023, being part Section 2, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District: Area, 4 acres 3 roods 26·2 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 325, folio 264. Subject to a building-line restriction registered under K. 59858.

PART Rural Section 6214, situated in Block II, Christchurch Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 392, folio 218, limited as to parcels and title. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1226H deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
