WAIMATUA RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Waimatua Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £3,500 authorised to be raised by the Local Government Loans Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a dwellinghouse, the Waimatua Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·685 pence per acre on all the rateable property of the Waimatua Rabbit District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being payable on the 30th day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Hunua Additional Loan. 1958, £796,000
That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of seven hundred and ninety-six thousand pounds (£796,000) to be known as the Hunua Additional Loan 1958, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting additional costs and construction work in the waterworks development scheme at Hunua and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and thirteen sixteenths pence (1¹³⁄₁₆ of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, to execute the public works hereunder mentioned, and for the purposes of which public works the land described in the Schedules hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Whakatane County Council, situated at the Strand, Whakatane, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the said Council at the said office.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
Notice is hereby given that the Waimea County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts a certain public work, namely, the acquisition of land for the purposes of a road; and for such purposes the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Trafalgar Street, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments.
Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, in connection with street widening at Kedah Street and Calabar Road in the City of Wellington, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

Secondly, twenty-one and forty-three one hundredths perches (21·43 p.), more or less, being part of Section 9, Watt’s Peninsula District, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 11862, and being also the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 474, folio 83, Wellington Registry.
