MANAWATU CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lower Manawatu Scheme Classified Special Area
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £29,000 being a portion of the above loan authorised to be raised by the Manawatu Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for carrying out the works of the Lower Manawatu River Control Scheme, the said Manawatu Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate adjusted in terms of section 4b of the Valuation Equalisation Act 1957 and on a graduated scale according to the Lower Manawatu Scheme Classification List now in force, of an amount in the pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable property of the Lower Manawatu Scheme Classified Area as follows:

and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed by the Manawatu Catchment Board at its meeting held on Tuesday the 19th day of August 1958.

BOROUGH OF TE AROHA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Te Aroha Borough Council Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1958, £6,700
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Te Aroha Borough Council, held on the 22nd day of July 1958, the following resolution was passed:
“(a) In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other enabling authorities, the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby resolves:
‘That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the Te Aroha Borough Council Pensioners’ Flats Loan, 1958, £6,700, authorised to be raised by the Te Aroha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one seven three nine seven six (·173976d.) pence in the pound on all rateable property in the Borough of Te Aroha on the basis of the unimproved value; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, during the period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan if fully paid off.’
“(b) That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge, as security for the payment of the said debenture or debentures, the annually recurring special rate of decimal one seven three nine seven six (·173976d.) pence in the pound on all rateable property in the Borough of Te Aroha on the basis of the unimproved value made and levied.”

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Hall Replacement Supplementary Loan 1958, £8,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of eight thousand pounds (£8,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Hall Replacement Loan 1957 was sanctioned, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two hundred and twenty-four thousandths of a penny (·224d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 5 years, or until the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on the 25th day of August 1958.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Transport Centre Supplementary Loan 1958, £15,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Transport Centre Loan 1957 was sanctioned, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four hundred and ten thousandths of a penny (·410d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 5 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Wellington City Sewerage Supplementary Loan 1954, of £20,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 1st day of September 1958:
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000) to be known as the Wellington City Sewerage Supplementary Loan 1954, of £20,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Wellington City Sewerage Loan 1937, of £200,000, was raised, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of nine eight-hundredths of a penny (9/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
