Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY RESERVE 2015, formerly part Reserve 337, situated in Block VI, Karangarua Survey District: Area, 52 acres and 20 perches, more or less. Shown on plan No. 138/27 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 4787.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of July 1958.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Authorising Puketoro Farming Co. Ltd. to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waiapu

At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of August 1958

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Puketoro Farming Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Tokomaru Bay (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Water Power Regulations 1934 and the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. This licence is issued under the Water Power Regulations 1934, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1979, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric Power Board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator and proceeding as follows:

(a) In a southerly direction across a road to a cottage.

(b) In an easterly direction generally to a cowshed.

(c) In a north-easterly direction to a cookhouse.

(d) In a north-westerly direction generally to men’s quarters.

All being situated in Section 2, Block XVI, Hikurangi Survey District, in the County of Waiapu, the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 483 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
