Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland-
Hamilton Motorway in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey
District, and Block I, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in
Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, and Block I, Otahuhu
Survey District—viz., a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton
Motorway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule
hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect
only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on
the plan marked P.W.D. 156767 referred to in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL in the North Auckland Land District commencing at a
point in the middle of St. Mark’s Road, approximately 1½
chains south-west of its intersection with Robert Hall Avenue
and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally
for a distance of approximately 2 miles 76 chains, passing
in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz: Rail-

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of a Portion of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway, in Block
III, Kapiti Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 14th day of
March 1956, published in Gazette, 22 March 1956, Vol. I,
page 376, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Wellington as No. 5508, defining the middle line of a portion
of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway, in so far as it affects
Lot 1, D.P. 17553, being part Muaupoko Block, and being all
the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
641, folio 67, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 7th day of August 1958.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Taking Land for Road and
for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in
Block IX, Teviotdale Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of April
1958 and published in Gazette, 1 May 1958, No. 27, page
556, taking land for road and for the use, convenience, or
enjoyment of a road in Block IX, Teviotdale Survey District,
in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule
hereto, such lands being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District con-
taining 1·2 perches, situated in Block IX, Teviotdale Survey
District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Rural Sections 3040
and 4498; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 155834 (S.O. 9170) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured sepia, edged sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 7th day of August 1958.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
SECTION 13 (formerly closed road in Proclamation 15939),
Block X, Kaeo Survey District: Area, 23 acres and 28 perches,
more or less. Shown on plan No. 5/80 deposited in the Head
Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red. (S.O. Plan 40117.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 29th day of July 1958.
