A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby pro-
claim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto.

General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the
street described in the Schedule hereto.

All that piece of street in the Hawke's Bay Land District
containing 1 rood 20·8 perches, situated in the City of
Napier, Hawke's Bay R.D., and adjoining Lot 157, D.P.
9389, being part Ahuriri Lagoon, part old Bed of Tutaekuri
River, part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block, and part Lot 3,
D.P. 6187, being part Ahuriri Lagoon, part old Bed of

Pursuant to subsection 5 of section 29 of the Public Works
Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the
land, being closed street, described in the First Schedule
hereto to be added to the land, being land acquired for the
purposes of the Housing Act 1955, described in the Second
Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
All that piece of closed street in the Hawke's Bay Land
District containing 1 rood 20·8 perches, situated in the City
of Napier, Hawke's Bay R.D., and adjoining Lot 157, D.P.
9389, being part Ahuriri Lagoon, part old bed of the Tutaekuri
River, and part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block, and part Lot
3, D.P. 6187, being part Ahuriri Lagoon, part old bed of the
Tutaekuri River, and part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 156693 (S.O. 3041) deposited in the office of the

SECOND SCHEDULE

containing 15 perches, situated in the City of Napier, Hawke's

road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no
longer required.

All that piece of road in the Taranaki Land District con-
taining 12·3 perches, situated in Block XIV, Ohura Survey
District, Taranaki R.D., adjoining or passing through Section
37; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 156733 (S.O. 8857) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act
1948.

Turanganui Survey District, Gisborne R.D., and being Sec-
