Additional Land Near Maheno Taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
1 acre 3 roods 32·4 perches.
Being part road, Block VII, Oamaru Survey District, Waitaki County. (S.O. 9744.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10000 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of August 1958.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway (Clarksville to Lawrence Branch) and the land in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road-diversion in connection therewith.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Sockburn
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Paparua County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 8·4 perches.
Being part railway land in Proclamation 54. Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Paparua County. (S.O. 9367.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 15523 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Revoking Declaration of Land, Wellington Acclimatisation District, as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published in Gazette, 21 February 1929, Volume I, page 453, relating to the Wellington Acclimatisation District, notifying and declaring certain areas to be sanctuaries under the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, to the extent appearing in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
LANDS at Palmerston North and Longburn, Kairanga Survey District: All that area containing 154 acres, being Section 374 and part of Section 372 and 373, Palmerston North, the said area being owned and occupied by Charlotte Sarah Slack. Also all that area containing 296 acres at Longburn, being Sections 18, 20, and 21, Kairanga Survey District, the said area being owned and occupied by William Edward Arthur Slack and John Upton Gaskell Slack.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of July 1958.
