As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 155685 (S.O. 38202) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of Kathleen
Simpson Browne, of Timaru, Widow, Over Land in the
City of Timaru, Taken for an Institution Established Under
the Child Welfare Act 1925, Assented to

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 23rd day of May 1958,
published in Gazette, 29 May 1958, No. 33, page 692, an area
of land containing 1 rood 6·9 perches, being part Lot 20,
D.P. 1456, being part Rural Section 2015, situated in the City
of Timaru, was taken for an institution established under the
Child Welfare Act 1925; and whereas Kathleen Simpson
Browne, of Timaru, widow, is entitled to receive compensa-
tion in respect of her freehold interest in the said land; and
whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the
said Kathleen Simpson Browne an easement by way of a
right of way over part of the aforesaid area in addition to the
payment of a sum of money in full satisfaction of the com-
pensation aforesaid; and whereas the said Kathleen Simpson
Browne has agreed to accept such grant of easement and
sum of money in full satisfaction of the said compensation;
now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice,
pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that
he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the per-
sons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being
testing officers under the said regulations for the authority
specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions
of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as
they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not
apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof
the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940, to the person described in column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade
motor in the course of his employment for the employer
described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to
drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
