Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land Subject as to Part to a Drainage Easement

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 23rd day of April 1958, subject as to Lot 10, D.P. 19608, to the drainage easement created in and by memorandum of transfer No. 480425, Canterbury Land Registry.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 18th day of July 1956 and published in Gazette, 19 July 1956, Volume II, page 952, declaring land acquired for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land, in so far as it affects the area of 2 roods 16 perches secondly described in the said notice and hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 28th day of July 1958.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 4th day of March 1958, together with the benefit of the right of way created by memorandum of transfer No. 7591, Otago Land Registry, and subject to a condition as to building line imposed by Order in Council No. 7133, Otago Land Registry, to rights of batter created by memorandum of transfer No. 164916, Otago Land Registry, to the easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 165668, Otago Land Registry, as to Lots 16, 17, and 18, D.P. 9042, to conditions of consent of the Dunedin City Council as to rights of way over Lots 17 and 18, shown coloured blue and yellow respectively on D.P. 9042, Otago Land Registry, and endorsed on the said plan, and subject as to Lots 11, 13, 23, and 24, D.P. 9042, to the covenant as to fencing contained in memorandum of transfer No. 207981, Otago Land Registry.

Notice of Intention to Take Land and Easements Over Land for Sewage Treatment Purposes in Block XIII, Galatea Survey District, Situated in Murupara Town District and Whakatane County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for sewage treatment purposes, and to take easements for sewage treatment purposes over the land described in the Second and Third Schedules hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, first, full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain lines of sewer pipes and water pipes under, along, or over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto and to convey sewage and water through the said pipes, and, secondly, full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, such easements to be held appurtenant thereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land and easement so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Murupara; and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land and easements should if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land and easements set forth the same in writing and send the writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
