Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Blocks I and II, Maramarua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was acquired for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said board.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the Maramarua Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

Being
1 1 0:6 Part Railway land in K. 64727 and part Allotments 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, Section 3, Town of Mercer, Blocks I and II, coloured yellow on plan.
0 0 14.2 Part Railway land in K. 64727, Block I; coloured yellow, edged yellow on plan.
0 0 12.9 Allotment 10A, Section 3, Town of Mercer, Block I; coloured yellow, edged yellow on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156009 (S.O. 40629) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156023 (S.O. 23774) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

ALL that piece of road in the South Auckland Land District containing 6 acres 2 roods 17 perches, situated in Block XV, Paeroa Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through parts Section 47s, Sections 67s, 77s, and 78s, Reporoa Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156535 (S.O. 38970) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
