SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land and sea in the Wellington Land District, containing 9,500 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point, being the intersection of the mean high-water mark of the Tasman Sea and the production in a south-westerly direction of the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block I, Koitiata Survey District; thence proceeding north-easterly and north-westerly to and along the boundaries of that section to the Turakina Valley Road; thence easterly generally along the southern side of that road to the westernmost corner of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 334, folio 293, Wellington Registry; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that land to its southernmost corner, being also the easternmost corner of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 334, folio 294; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of that land contained in the last-mentioned certificate of title to the junction with the Koitiata Stream as shown on Survey Office plan numbered 15835; thence along a right line bearing 228° 00′ to a point being the intersection of that line and the mean high-water mark of the aforesaid sea; thence generally south-westerly, north-westerly, and north-easterly out to sea along right lines bearing 220° distance 4,600 yards, bearing 320° distance 7,200 yards, and bearing 70° distance 5,900 yards which last line returns to the point of commencement.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956
PURSUANT to clause (2) of regulation 41 and regulation 63 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
TAIL-lamp assemblies incorporating reflex red reflectors marked “BS 2515 (British Standards Mark) GR1” on reflector lens portion and “Enfo AV-RTS-57 B.S. 2516 (British Standards Mark) GR1 BUTLERS MADE IN ENGLAND” on tail-light portion. Fitted as standard equipment to Thames 7-cwt vans.

Extending a 30 Mile Per Hour Speed Limit
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

Those warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 21st day of September 1951* and the 10th day of February 1958† which relate to an area adjacent to Hamilton City in Waikato County are hereby revoked.

The portions of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waikato County—
That portion of the Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway No. 17 from its junction with the Hamilton-Rotorua State Highway No. 18 to a point 27 chains east of the said junction, also that portion of the Hamilton-Rotorua State Highway No. 18 from its junction with Riverlea Road to the eastern boundary of Hamilton City.

Limited Speed Zone Declared and Excluding Roads From Speed Limitation
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

So much of the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 20th day of December 1937,* as relates to part of the Hamilton-Te Kuiti State Highway No. 8 referred to in the said Warrant as the Auckland-Wellington via Taranaki Main Highway No. 1 in Ohaupo Town District is hereby revoked.

The portion of road specified in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

The portion of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations†.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Ohaupo Town District—
That portion of the Hamilton-Te Kuiti State Highway No. 8 from the northern boundary of Ohaupo Town District to the southern boundary of Ohaupo Town District.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Ohaupo Town District—
That portion of the Hamilton-Te Kuiti State Highway No. 8 from a point two chains south of its junction with Ranby Road to a point 14 chains north of its junction with Ngahinapouri Road.

That portion of the Lorne-Riverton State Highway No. 68 at Wallacetown from a point 15 chains north-west of its junction with the Ryal Bush-Wallacetown Main Highway No. 651 to a point nine chains south-east of the said junction.
