Closely Populated Locality Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.
SCHEDULE
Situated within Chatham Islands County—
That portion of the Waitangi Wharf-Owenga Main Highway No. 686 at Waitangi from its northern end at Waitangi Wharf to its junction with Te One Road.
Also that portion of Te Ngaio Road, at Waitangi, from its junction with the Waitangi Wharf-Owenga Main Highway No. 686 to a point 60 chains south of the said junction.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

Situated within Waipa County—
That portion of Te Rahu Road near the north-eastern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough from its junction with the Te Awamutu-Cambridge Main Highway No. 319 to a point 56 chains north-east of the said junction.

Revocation of Approval to Issue Warrants of Fitness
Pursuant to subclause 3 of regulation 52 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the approval of the firm described in the Schedule hereto to issue warrants of fitness for motor vehicles.

Approval of Motor-cycle Safety Helmets in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956
Pursuant to clause (2) of regulation 29 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulation, of the motor-cycle safety helmets of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956
Pursuant to clause (2) of regulation 41 and regulation 63 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Tail-lamp assemblies incorporating reflex red reflectors marked “GUARD R1 58 Guidex” fitted as standard equipment to 1958 Chevrolet motor cars.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
