All that area in the Taranaki Land District containing 1 rood, situated in Block II, Carlyle Survey District, Taranaki R.D., and being Section 152, Township of Kakaramea. Part certificate of title, Volume 134, folio 145, Taranaki Land Registry (limited as to parcels).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of June 1958.

The South Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of June 1958
Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

LICENCE
  1. This order may be cited as the South Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958.
  2. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the South Canterbury Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines and to construct electric works within the area of supply described in the First Schedule hereto.
  3. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  4. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence:
    Provided that the licensee shall not by virtue of this clause be required, except in the normal course of alteration, repair, or maintenance, to reconstruct in conformity with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned any existing electric line or work which conformed to the regulations in force at the time of the construction thereof, and has not become a hazardous line as described in the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
  5. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
  6. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 30th day of June 1966.
  7. The Order in Council dated the 30th day of June 1924 and published in the Gazette on the 3rd day of July 1924 authorising the licensee to construct electric works and the Orders in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto authorising the licensee to use electric lines are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
  1. The South Canterbury Electric Power District as defined in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of August 1957 and published in the Gazette on the 29th day of the same month at page 1575, excluding the area of supply of the Timaru City Council as defined in the Order in Council dated the 7th day of June 1923 and published in the Gazette on the 14th day of the same month, authorising the Timaru City Council to erect and maintain electric lines.
  2. The outer area of the South Canterbury Electric Power District (comprising those parts of the Mackenzie and Geraldine Counties not included in the said District, nor included in the Ashburton Electric Power District by the Proclamation dated the 17th day of November 1950 and published in the Gazette on the 23rd day of the same month at page 1999 altering the boundaries of the Ashburton Electric Power District), excluding the area of supply of the Mackenzie County Council as defined in the Mackenzie County Council Electric Lines Licence 1955.*

Amending a Licence Authorising the Whakatane Borough Council to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Portion of the Borough of Whakatane

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 14th day of February 1951 and published in the Gazette on the 15th day of the same month, at page 170, authorising the Whakatane Borough Council to erect and use electric lines within portion of the Borough of Whakatane, by omitting from clause 3 of the First Schedule the last sentence.

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the Ngaitahu, Ngati-Matawhaiti and Ruapani hapus.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

All that area of land situated in Block VII, Clyde Survey District, containing 3 acres 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, and being the land known as Whakaki 2J1; as is more particularly delineated in the plan numbered M.A. 21/3/317 lodged in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street Off Fairburn Road in the Borough of Otahuhu, Subject to Conditions as to the Building Line

Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Otahuhu Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66ft, but not less than 45 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 2, 9, 10, and 11 of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 156150 referred to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of 33ft from the centre line of the said street, or on Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the said subdivision within a distance of 48ft from the centre line of the said street

SCHEDULE

That proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Otahuhu, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, being part Lots 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 33191 and part Lot 1, D.P. 31351, being part Allotment 40, Small Farms near Otahuhu.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156150 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and theron coloured red.
