WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wairarapa South County Workers Dwelling Loan 1956, £12,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Counties Act 1956, and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Wairarapa South County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa South County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting or purchasing workers' dwellings and to be known as Wairarapa South County Workers Dwelling Loan 1956, the said Wairarapa South County Council hereby makes a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound (½d. in £1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Wairarapa South; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wairarapa South County Council held on the 15th day of May 1958.

LYTTELTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Vehicles Loan 1958, £2,790

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lyttelton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £2,790 to be raised under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing two trucks, the said Lyttelton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the £ upon the rateable value on the basis of the annual value of all rateable property situated in the Borough of Lyttelton and that the rate shall be an annual-recurring rate and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Lyttelton Borough Council held on Monday, 26 May 1958.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of one thousand eight hundred and fifty pounds (£1,850) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the work of extending and improving the Levin Swimming Baths, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ten four-hundredths of a penny (10/400d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin, comprising the whole of the Borough of Levin; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the sewerage reticulation of the Borough, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-three four-hundredths of a penny (23/400d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin, comprising the whole of the Borough of Levin; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

BOROUGH OF NORTHCOTE

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Northcote Borough Council made on the 9th day of July 1957, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, which scheme was subsequently amended to meet the requirements of the Minister of Works pursuant to regulation 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and amended by Council in certain particulars pursuant to regulation 20 (2) of such regulations. The scheme relates to the whole of the Northcote Borough. The scheme (incorporating such amendments) has been deposited in the office of the Northcote Borough Council, Queen Street, the Northcote Public Library, Rodney Road, and the office of the Auckland Regional Planning Authority, Princes Street, Auckland, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 8th day of September 1958. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Thames County Council, at its meeting held on the 22nd day of May 1958, has resolved to prepare for the Thames County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Thames County District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's office on or before the 29th day of August 1958.
