TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waihi Borough Council at its meeting held on the 19th day of May 1958 has resolved to prepare for the Waihi Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Waihi Borough District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 31st day of July 1958.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blenheim Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work namely, development of fire service centre, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Alfred Street, Blenheim, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Alfred Street, Blenheim.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate in the Borough of Blenheim containing sixteen decimal three (16·3) perches, being Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 890, being part Section 1, District of Omaka, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 25, folio 108 (Marlborough Registry).

HOWICK BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Howick Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain public works, namely, street widening on the corner of Selwyn Road and Beach Road in the Borough of Howick over portion of Lots 60 and 61 of Section 2 of the Town of Howick and for the purpose of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council situated in Picton Street, Howick, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Picton Street, Howick.
