Notice is hereby given that, after delivery to the Registrar of Companies of a declaration of solvency pursuant to section 274 of the Companies Act 1955, the company by entry in the minute book of the company pursuant to section 362 of the said Act, passed the following resolution as a special resolution on the 22nd day of May 1958:

"1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.

"2. That John Martin Weaver, of Alexandra, public accountant be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of J. R. Williamson's Transport Ltd. (in liquidation).

The liquidator of J. R. Williamson's Transport Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 19th day of June 1958 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution. Proofs of debt or claims are to be delivered to the office of Messrs Pedofsky and Weaver, Public Accountants, Tarbert Street, Alexandra.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Loan 1958, £137,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and thirty-seven thousand pounds (£137,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of improving the water supply of the city including the construction of reservoirs, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three hundred and seventy-eight thousandths of a penny (1.378d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on the 28th day of April 1958.

NGARUAWAHI A BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Plant Loan 1957

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one thousand seven hundred and twenty-five pounds (£1,725) authorised under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a three-ton truck, the said Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one half-penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Ngaruawahia, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 17th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PORT CHALMERS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Housing Loan (1955) £4,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Port Chalmers Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000) authorised to be raised by the Port Chalmers Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building pensioners flats in Port Chalmers, the said Port Chalmers Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three farthings (¾d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Port Chalmers Borough comprising the whole of the said Borough and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be repayable half-yearly on the 21st day of May and the 21st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing special order was confirmed at a special meeting of the Port Chalmers Borough Council on 29 October 1957.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Cottages (Poulson Street) Loan 1958, £24,050

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of twenty-four thousand and fifty pounds (£24,050) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting pensioners' cottages, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three thousand seven hundred and seventy-seven/four hundred thousandths of a penny (3777/400000d.) in the pound (£0094425) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The Christchurch City Council at a meeting held on the 26th day of May 1958, passed the above resolution.
