Limited Speed Zone Declared

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

SCHEDULE

Situated within Inangahua County-

That portion of the Nelson-Westport State Highway No. 54 at Buller Township from the bridge over the Westport-Greymouth Railway to a point 40 chains east of the said bridge.

Result of Election by Fire Insurance Companies to Fill an Extraordinary Vacancy on the Fire Board for the Napier United Urban Fire District

Pursuant to the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice of the following result of the election held on 28 May 1958 by the Fire Insurance Companies carrying on business in New Zealand to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Fire Board for the Napier United Urban Fire District.

The Standards Act 1941-Draft New Zealand Standard Specification No. D 5590: Draft Amendment of N.Z.S.S. 95 Part VII: Fire-resisting Construction and Means of Egress

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the N.Z. Standards Institute, 201 Lambton Quay (P.O. Box 195), Wellington C. 1.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 2 September 1958.

Canterbury Raspberry Marketing Committee Elections

Pursuant to clause 11 of the Schedule of the Canterbury Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1950, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of four producers' representatives to the Canterbury Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz., Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, also at the offices of the Department of Agriculture at Christchurch, Kaikoura, Ashburton, Rangiora, and Amberley.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of seven days from 26 May 1958.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices, or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Christchurch. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 11th day of June 1958.
