Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be
Crown Land Subject as to Part to a Fencing Agreement
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the
Land Act 1948 as from the 9th day of June 1958, subject
as to Lot 21, D.P. 40462, to the fencing agreement contained
in memorandum of transfer No. 572217, Auckland Land
Registry.

Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the

containing 1 rood 20 perches, situated in Block XII, Waite-
mata Survey District, Borough of Northcote, Auckland R.D.,
and being Lot 446 on the plan marked P.W.D. 156181
(H.D.A. 79 S31 R1) deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red, being part
Allotments 42 and 43, Takapuna Parish. Part certificates of

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the per-
sons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being
testing officers under the said regulations for the authority
specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions
of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far
as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall
not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu
thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of
the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy
trade motor, being a Hough 1½-yard front-end loader, in the
course of his employment for the employer described in
column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him,
while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a
heavy trade motor for any other purpose or of any other class.

PURSUANT to subclause (4) of regulation 11A of the Motor
Vehicles Registration and Licensing Regulations 1949,* the
Minister of Transport hereby (1) declares that the com-
panies, persons, and firms described in the First Schedule
hereto shall, to the extent therein described, be approved
vendors of motor vehicles in addition to those already so
declared†, for the purposes of registration of motor vehicles
in terms of the said regulation; (2) revokes as approved
vendors of motor vehicles the companies, persons, and firms
described in the Second Schedule hereto.
