Cancellation of the Vesting in the Eketahuna County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eketahuna, and revokes the reservation for a reserve for road and gravel over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Notice of Intention to Take an Easement Over Land in Block VIII, Turanganui Survey District, for an Automatic Beacon, Such Easement Being Required for the Transmission of Electrical Energy to the New Tuaheni Point Beacon

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take an easement over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to transmit electrical energy to the new Tuaheni Point Automatic Beacon, with the right for Her Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain cables along, under, or over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and the right to convey electrical energy through the said cables, such easement to be appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land over which the easement is so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Gisborne and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of such easement should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the said easement, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
