Objections to Variations to Paraparaumu-Raumati District Scheme No. 1
THE Hutt County Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to variations to the District Scheme relating to Paraparaumu-Raumati will commence at the Council Chambers, Bowen House, Wellington, at ten o'clock in the forenoon on Monday the 30th day of June 1958, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and place to place until all objections and witnesses have been heard.
All persons who wish to be heard in support of or opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least three days before that date.
The following is a summary of the subject-matters of objections received by the Council:
- Ministry of Works: Requires deletion of old route of proposed motorway in the vicinity of Otaihanga Road and the substitution of new route referred to in item 17 of the variations.
- Civil Aviation Administration: Objects to item 18 of the variations allowing the erection of dwellinghouses on existing residential lots in the rural zone.
- Cubitt Wells Ltd.: Objects to Lots 9 and 10, Block III D.P. 462 being zoned residential.
- Maori Owners: Object to Ngarara West 2A, 2c, 3c being zoned rural.
- Howell, A. S.: Objects to Lots 8 and 9, D.P. 2241, being part Ngarara West A 6, Block IX, Kaitawa S.D. being zoned as rural.
- Otaihanga Residents: Object to Otaihanga being zoned rural.
- Residents in Vicinity Matai Road, Raumati: Object to Industrial B zoning in Matai Road.
- H. J. and W. S. Eatwell: Object to part Section 1 of the Tikotu Settlement being zoned rural.
- Estate M. W. Donovan: Objects to Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 17327 being zoned as rural.
- W. H. and A. P. Howell: Object to Lot 1, D.P. 1671, Part Section 4s Ngarara and Lots 123 and 25, D.P. 16144 being zoned rural.
- G. S. Walton, W. and A. P. Howell: Object to Section S 1 Ngarara Settlement, Block 3, Kapiti Subdivision, area 135 acres and 9 perches, being zoned rural.

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Paparua County Council, at its meeting held on 2 April 1958, has resolved to prepare for that part of the Paparua County described in the Schedule to this notice, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposal which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Paparua District Scheme – Rural Section” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the Council Offices, Sockburn, on or before the 21st day of July 1958.

RURAL Section: Comprising that portion of the county outside the district of the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority and including the Ridings of West Melton, Broadfield, Ladbrooms, and part of Templeton.

BOROUGH OF HENDERSON
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Henderson Borough Council made on the 15th day of April 1957, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Henderson. The scheme has been deposited in the office of the Henderson Borough Council and in the Henderson Public Library, Thomas Street, Henderson, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Friday, the 29th day of August 1958. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Counties Act 1956.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waipara County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the making of a road and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk of the said Council at Waikari and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and within forty days from the first publication of this notice, send such writing to the County Clerk at Waikari.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 2 acres 2 roods and 14·2 perches situated in Block 9 of the Waikari Survey District being part of Rural Section 27208 and being the balance of the land in certificate of title, Volume 97, folio 286, Canterbury Registry (adjoining the properties of Messrs H. B. Murray, G. McDowell, and L. J. Gates), in the name of Eric Alexander Buchanan, of Timaru, gentleman.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin (hereinafter called “the Corporation”) proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a public work, namely, to widen the road or street known as Brockville Road and for the purposes of such public work requires to take the land described in the Schedule hereto, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Municipal Chambers of the Corporation situated in the Octagon in the City of Dunedin and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk of the Corporation.
SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that piece of land situated in the Wakari District containing 3·3 poles, more or less, being part sections 115 and 116 of the said district and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Register Book Volume 4, folio 120, the said piece of land being more particularly shown on Survey Office Plan No. 12557 and thereon coloured seapia.
Secondly, all that piece of land situated in Wakari District containing 6·8 poles, more or less, being part section 114 of the said district and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Register Book Volume 390, folio 52, the said piece of land being more particularly shown on Survey Office Plan No. 12557 and thereon coloured blue.
Thirdly, all that piece of land situated in the Lower Kaikorai District containing 0·01 of a pole, more or less, being part Lot 3, Deposited Plan No. 3783 and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Register Book Volume 301, folio 214, the said piece of land being more particularly shown on Survey Office Plan No. 12557 and thereon coloured blue.
Fourthly, all that piece of land situated in the Wakari District containing 2 roods 21·5 poles, more or less, being part of Lots 1, 2, and 4, Deposited Plan No. 27 and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Register Book Volume 30, folio 226, the said piece of land being more particularly shown on Survey Office Plan No. 12557 and thereon coloured yellow.
