That portion of the Inangahua Junction - Greymouth State Highway No. 55 at Cronadun from its junction with the access road to Cronadun Railway Station to a point 30 chains north of the said junction.

Limited Speed Zone Declared

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. So much of the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 21st day of December 1936,* as relates to part of the Tirau-Wairakei State Highway No. 41 referred to in the said Warrant as the Waitoa-Taupo Main Highway No. 19 and the Kihikihi-Arapuni-Putaruru Main Highway No. 314 in Putaruru Borough is hereby revoked.

  2. The portions of roads specified in the First Schedule to this notice are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

  3. The portion of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Putaruru Borough—

That portion of the Kihikihi-Arapuni-Putaruru Main Highway No. 314 from its junction with Campbell Road to the south-western boundary of Putaruru Borough.

Also that portion of the Tirau-Wairakei State Highway No. 41 from a point 4 chains south of its junction with Market Street to the south-eastern boundary of Putaruru Borough.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Putaruru Borough—

That portion of the Tirau-Wairakei State Highway No. 41 from a point 4 chains south of its junction with Market Street to a point 8 chains south of Shalson Street.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 21st day of August 1950* which relates to part of the Hawera-Wanganui State Highway No. 11 in Waitotara County is hereby revoked.

  2. The portion of road specified in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

  3. The portion of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitotara County—

That portion of the Hawera-Wanganui State Highway No. 11 from the north-western boundary of Wanganui City to a point 40 chains north-west of the said boundary.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitotara County—

That portion of the Hawera-Wanganui State Highway No. 11 from a point 40 chains north-west of the north-western boundary of Wanganui City to a point 44 chains north-west of its junction with Virginia Road.

That portion of Whitemans Valley Road at Pinehaven from its junction with Forest Road to the southern boundary of Upper Hutt Borough.
