SCHEDULE

ALL that area situated in Block IX, Arnold Survey District, Grey County, Westland Land District, being Reserves 34, 96, and 1909, part Greymouth-Reefton Railway and part Omotumotu and Kaiata Creeks, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Reserve 1004 and proceeding westerly along the southern boundary of the said reserve to its south-western corner; thence generally westerly, north-westerly, and south-westerly along the southern boundaries of Crown land to the right bank of Omotumotu Creek; thence northerley along the said right bank to its confluence with the Grey River; thence south-westerly to the south-eastern corner of Lot 6, D.P. 587; thence generally south-easterly along the western boundary of the Greymouth-Reefton Railway to the right bank of Omotumotu Creek; thence by the said right bank and the left bank of Kaiata Creek to a point in line with the western boundary of Rural Section 1419; thence northerly by a right line to and along the western boundaries of Rural Sections 1419, 2123, 2122, and 1420 to the point of commencement.

As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 52/330 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Amending Declaration of Land, Auckland Acclimatisation District, as a Wildlife Refuge


COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published in the Gazette, 30 July 1931, page 2180, notifying and declaring a certain area in the Auckland Acclimatisation District to be a sanctuary under the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, and I hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.


SCHEDULE

PART of the Mangaokewa Stream: All that area of approximately 15 acres, situated in Block XV, Orahiri Survey District, and Blocks III and IV, Otanake Survey District, being that part of the Mangaokewa Stream included within the boundaries of the Borough of Te Kuiti.

As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 52/143 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati He subtribe of Ngaiterangi and other Maori residents of the locality as a meeting place and recreation area.

The Raurimu Cemetery Order 1958

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 8th day of April 1958

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Raurimu Cemetery Order 1958.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of May 1958.

  1. The Taumarunui County Council is hereby appointed to be the trustee of the Raurimu Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of the Cemeteries Act 1908.

  2. All appointments of trustees of the said cemetery made before the commencement of this order are hereby revoked.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing 2 acres and 20 perches, more or less, being Section 5, Raurimu Township, situated in Block XII, Kaitieke Survey District.

The Orowaiti Cemetery Order 1958

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Orowaiti Cemetery Order 1958.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of May 1958.

  1. The Westport Borough Council is hereby appointed to be the trustee of the Orowaiti Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of the Cemeteries Act 1908.

  2. The Orowaiti Cemetery Order 1957* is hereby revoked.
