A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Westland Land District
containing 16 6 perches, situated in the Borough of Greymouth,
being Lot 2, D.P. 1010, being part Reserve 97 (formerly
part Sections 2 and 3, Block I, Town of Cobden). Part
certificate of title, Volume 29, folio 34, Westland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 8th day of April 1958.

General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land

hereto.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of
the East Coast Main Trunk Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 56
acres 2 roods 20 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 1739, being part Paritu No. 4 Block.
Situated in Block IX, Paritu Survey District, Cook County.

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 15210 deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon coloured orange.

Amending Declaration of Land, Rotorua Acclimatisation
District, as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published in Gazette,
17 September 1931, page 2817, relating to the Rotorua
Acclimatisation District notifying and declaring certain areas
to be sanctuaries under the Animals Protection and Game
Act 1921-22, to the extent appearing in the First Schedule
hereto and I hereby proclaim and declare the areas of land
described in the Second Schedule hereto to be wildlife refuges
for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREAS REVOKED AS SANCTUARIES UNDER THE ANIMALS
PROTECTION AND GAMES ACT 1921-22
Area at Hamurana: All that area comprising the Hamurana
Stream and that portion of Lake Rotorua within a radius of
half a mile from where such a stream enters the said lake.
Matata Lagoon: All that area in the Auckland Land Dis-
trict containing by admeasurement 108 acres, being Section 4,
Block VI, Awa-o-te-Aua Survey District, known as Matata
Lagoon.
