Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of
Morrisville
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
h hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes, and
shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the
Borough of Morrisville as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 13th day of January 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District
containing 3 acres 3 roods 9·9 perches, situated in Block VI,
Maungakawa Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part
Lot 23, D.P. 2465; being part Motumaoho No. 2 Block; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 155021 (S.O. 38702) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 13th day of January 1958.

containing 27·66 perches, situated in the Borough of Mount

Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to Lot 21, D.P.
S. 4637, to the building-line restriction imposed by Notice
S. 88613, Auckland Land Registry, for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 13th day of January 1958.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
h hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 27th day of May
1957, and published in Gazette, 30 May 1957, No. 42, page
1075, taking land for State housing purposes in the City of
Wellington, in so far as it affects the land first described in
the Schedule thereto, and hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of
January 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 acre 3 roods 28·37 perches, situated in the City of
Wellington, being Lots 11 to 22 inclusive, D.P. 19604, being

exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 13th day of January 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District
containing 18·3 perches, situated in Block VIII, Waoku Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Kaiwhare No. 16
Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 154322 (S.O. 39919) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
