AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE AUTHORITY
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Auckland Harbour Bridge Act 1950 and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the formation and construction of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and its approaches, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited at the office of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority which is situated on the fifth floor, Tasman Building, Anzac Avenue, Auckland, and they are open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Anzac Avenue, Auckland.

1·7 perches, more or less, being situated in the City of Auckland, being part of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 37078, being portion of Allotments 11 and 12, Section 8 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 980, folio 31, Auckland Registry, having appurtenant thereto a right of way created by transfer No. 468865 and subject to a right of way created by transfer No. 468865.

8·2 perches, more or less, being situated in the City of Auckland, and being parts of Lots 2 and 3 on Deposited Plan No. 14312, and being part of Allotment 11 of Section 8 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 360, folio 13, Auckland Registry, subject to the agreement as to fencing contained in transfer No. 160520.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and improving the Levin Coronation Swimming Baths, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen four-hundredths of a penny (17/400d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin, comprising the whole of the Borough of Levin; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

KAITAIA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaitaia Borough Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand five hundred pounds authorised to be raised by the Kaitaia Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the acquisition of land (namely, Lot 4, D.P. 38669, of O.L.C., 7 Commerce Street, Kaitaia), the said Kaitaia Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-three hundredths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the rateable property of the Borough of Kaitaia; and that the said rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

SOUTHLAND CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Office Building Loan Conversion Loan 1957, £16,200
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and all other powers in that behalf it enabling, the Southland Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £16,200 known as the Office Building Loan Conversion Loan 1957 authorised to be raised by the Southland Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes of meeting the cost of the repayment of the balance of principal outstanding in the Office Building Loan 1954 of £25,000, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-thousandths of a penny (0·003d.) in the pound on the rateable capital value of all rateable property within the Southland Catchment District as defined in the Gazette, No. 20, dated 22 March 1945, at pages 304-305; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of seven years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Southland Catchment Board held on the 18th day of December 1957.

CENTRAL HAWKE'S BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1958, £25,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for further reticulation, the said Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-ninth of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off."
I certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board at a meeting held on Thursday, 19 December 1957, and at which the resolution was duly passed.

THE WESTLAND CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Coal Creek Flat Protection Loan 1957, £3,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westland Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorised to be raised by the Westland Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for strengthening the Coal Creek stopbank on the Grey River, the said Westland Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of 1·65d. in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Coal Creek Flat special rating area shown in the special roll of the Coal Creek Flat special rating area deposited in the office of the Board at Greymouth and also shown in plan No. 23/9/20 deposited in the office of the Board at Greymouth; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of September and the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed by the Westland Catchment Board on the 16th day of December 1957.
