Authorising the Waitaki Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Part of the Waimate County

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of December 1957
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitaki Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to construct electric works within the said area of supply.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
    LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
  2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
    SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
  3. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
    DURATION OF LICENCE
  4. This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 21st day of November 1967.

AREA OF SUPPLY
ALL that portion of the Waimate County included in the Waitaki Electric Power District by the Proclamation altering the boundaries of the South Canterbury and Waitaki Electric Power Districts dated the 23rd day of August 1957, and published in the Gazette on the 29th day of the same month, at page 1575.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Te Puke Rabbit District Order 1957.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Te Puke Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of September 1955,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TE PUKE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 103,000 acres in the Tauranga County, and the Boroughs of Mount Maunganui and Te Puke, in the South Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern shores of the entrance to the Tauranga Harbour, and running south-easterly generally along the shores of the Bay of Plenty to and southerly generally up the right bank of the Kaituna River,
to and up the middle of the Mangorewa River, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District; thence generally northerly along a right line to and along that eastern boundary, and the generally northern boundary of that Section 8, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 7 of the said Block IV; thence along a right line across a public road to and along that north-eastern boundary and the generally northern boundary of that Section 7 to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 12, Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence along a right line across the Taumataapaua Stream to and along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of that Section 12, crossing an intervening public road, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 7; thence along a right line crossing the Te Rerenga Stream to and along that north-eastern boundary, and along another right line being that boundary produced across a public road to and along the generally eastern boundary of Section 3, the aforesaid sections being of Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District, aforesaid, to and along the eastern boundaries of Waoku Nos. 1, 1B, 1A, and 3 Blocks, and the generally northern boundary of Waoku No. 2A Block, to and down the middle of the Waimapu Stream and up the middle of the Kirikiri Stream to the eastern side of Ohauiti Road in Block III, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence still northerly along that road side to and along the generally north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 18834, being part Ohauiti No. 2 and Waitaha No. 2 Blocks, in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Kaitimako Stream; thence down that right bank, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Kaitimako F No. 1 Block, along a right line being that boundary produced across a public road to and along the eastern side of that road, and along the generally southern boundary of Kaitimako H Block, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the generally western boundary of Lot 5, L.T. Plan S.3010, being part Waitaha No. 2 Block aforementioned; thence along that boundary, along the north-western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 5 and the generally western boundary of Lot 3 on the said L.T. Plan S. 3010, being part Waitaha No. 2 Block aforesaid, and of Section 6, Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, to and along the generally southern and western sides of Waitaha Road and the southern side of the Paeroa-Whakatane State Highway to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 18064, being part Waitaha No. 2 Block; thence along a right line across that State Highway to and along that western boundary, to and along the generally eastern shores of the Tauranga Harbour to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby incorporates the members of the society known as the West Coast Industries and Agricultural Fair Association, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted members of the said society agreeably to the rules of the said society and the provisions of the said Act, into a body corporate under the style and title of the West Coast Industries and Agricultural Fair Association.
