PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointment, promotions, and extensions of commissions of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH Appointment Flight Lieutenant Brian Stanley-Hunt (327103) is granted a permanent commission in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, with his present rank and seniority, with effect from 1 November 1957.

Promotion Flight Lieutenant Derek Butler Flintoff (71739) to be temporary Squadron Leader, with effect from 6 December 1957.

Extension of Commission Flight Lieutenant Clifford Ralph Miller (70180) is granted an extension of his present commission until 3 July 1963.

TECHNICAL BRANCH Promotion Engineer Division Squadron Leader Henry Christian Salmon, A.R.A.E.S. (70206), to be Acting Wing Commander, with effect from 20 November 1957.

WOMEN'S ROYAL NEW ZEALAND AIR FORCE REGULAR SECTION Extension of Date of Retirement The age for retirement of Flight Officer May Catherine Middleton, M.B.E. (70344), is extended for a period of six months, with effect from 1 January 1958.
