TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventeen thousand five hundred pounds (£17,500) authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting staff houses thereon, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal five three eight pence (0.538d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at a meeting held on 25 November 1957.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE

The Pensioners' Flats Loan 1957
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting twelve (12) pensioners' flats and work incidental thereto, the Wanganui City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.041 of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Wanganui comprising the whole of the City of Wanganui, the boundaries whereof are defined in the Gazette of the 14th day of March 1957, No. 22, at pages 485 and 486; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years from the date of the raising of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The Common Seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui was hereunto affixed this 10th day of December 1957 by order of the Wanganui City Council by and in the presence of—

RAUPO DRAINAGE BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance of the powers vested in its in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Raupo Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Raupo Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of staff housing, the said Raupo Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-tenths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Board's area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan, 1957 - £50,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the repayment of and interest charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-ninth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Matamata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 12th day of December 1957.

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the completion of the war memorial project to a workable stage, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound (1/16d. in the £) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Masterton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was duly passed by the Masterton Borough Council at a meeting of the said council held on the 12th day of December 1957.

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Amuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 (four thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Amuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the cost of repairs and improvements to the Culverden Hall, the said Amuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 3/40ths pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the Pahau Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Amuri County Council held on 6 December 1957.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE

The Street and Footpath Improvements Loan 1953, of £110,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and principal repayments on the final instalment of £20,000 of a special loan of £110,000 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui City Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 for the purpose of formation of forty (40) miles of concrete kerb and channel and thirty (30) miles of concrete footpaths, the said Wanganui City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.101 of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Wanganui comprising the whole of the City of Wanganui, the boundaries whereof are defined in the Gazette of the 3rd day of June 1954, No. 35, at pages 950 and 951; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said final instalment of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said final instalment of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years from the date of the raising of the said final instalment of the said loan, or until such final instalment is fully paid off."

The Common Seal of the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui was hereto affixed this 10th day of December 1957 by order of the Wanganui City Council by and in the presence of—
