OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Public Works Act 1928 and its Amendments.

Notice is hereby given that the Otorohanga Borough Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a pumping station and a pipeline to carry water in connection with the borough waterworks, for which purpose the lands and easement over land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto require to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.

A plan of the land and easement required to be taken as aforesaid is open to inspection at the office of the Otorohanga Borough Council, Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such land and easement, and to send such writing to the Otorohanga Borough Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

All of which land is situated in Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District, in the Otorohanga County, and is delineated on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland as No. 38238, and coloured as aforesaid.

SECOND SCHEDULE

EASEMENT TO BE TAKEN

EASEMENT of right to lay and maintain a pipeline with all accessories and conduct water through the same, and to enter for the purpose of inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the said pipeline over the following lands:

Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C.1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
