Rate of Commission on Vegetable Levy Fixed
(Notice No. Ag. 6439)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Vegetables Levy Act 1957, the Minister of Agriculture hereby gives notice that the rate of commission to be retained from vegetable levy shall be 15 per cent in respect of auctioneers or wholesalers, and shall be 7½ per cent in respect of every person who purchases vegetables from any vegetable grower for the purpose of processing, canning, or resale otherwise than by retail.

Land in the City of Invercargill Declared to be a Public Reserve

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Invercargill City Council on the 27th day of August 1957:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Invercargill City Council hereby resolves that the land specified in the Schedule hereto, being land vested in fee simple in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill, be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Declaration That Part of the Otorohanga Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve, Change of the Purpose of the Reserve, and Vesting in the Otorohanga Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Otorohanga Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for a war memorial, and vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Otorohanga, in trust, for a site for a war memorial.
