Vesting Reserves in the Christchurch City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby vests the reserves described in the Schedule hereto in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, in trust, for recreation purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 4474: Area, 1 rood 28·9 perches, more or less. (Shown as Lot 6, D.P. 12329, being part Rural Section 308.) Part C.T. 392/36, limited as to parcels.

Also Reserve 4889: Area, 1 rood 0·5 perch, more or less. (Shown as Lot 8, D.P. 17732, being part Rural Section 308.) Part C.T. 701/48, subject to building-line restriction, O.I.C. 418829.

Both situated in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District, City of Christchurch. Both subject to grant of easement contained in memorandum of transfer No. 468740.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a Maori burial ground to a reserve for the use or benefit of Maoris.
