Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Penrose

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of November 1957.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland, Marlborough, and Otago Land Districts Vested in the Auckland, Wellington, and Otago Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site, which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose, shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street Off Landscape Road in the Borough of Papatoetoe Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 30th day of October 1957

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or any part of a building shall at any time be erected on a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 154674 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 15 ft. from the side lines of the said street.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement, first, 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being part Lot 5, D.P. 35042, being part Allotment 43, Parish of Manurewa; secondly, 7 perches, more or less, being part Lot 3, D.P. 38455, being part Allotment 43, Parish of Manurewa; thirdly, 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 42434, being part Allotment 42, Parish of Manurewa; and fourthly, 36 perches, more or less, being part Lot 21, D.P. 15218, being part Allotment 42, Parish of Manurewa.
