Set Apart for Buildings of the General Government in the
City of Dunedin

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a mobilisation store and other public buildings, is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of November 1957.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Otago Land District containing 1 rood 25·36 perches, situated in Block LXIV, Town of Dunedin, City of Dunedin, Otago R.D., and being Sections 26 and 28 and part Sections 27 and 29; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154401 (S.O. 12476) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of October 1957.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation Taking Land for
Public Works

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of July 1944 and published in Gazette, 13 July 1944, Volume II, page 871, taking land and setting apart Crown land and public reserve for public works in so far as it affects the area of 6 acres 2 roods 21·5 perches, secondly described in the said Proclamation and therein numbered 442, being part Opei B Block, Block VIII, Urewera Survey District, Gisborne Land District, such land being no longer required; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117565 (S.O. 4243) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of October 1957.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of November 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood 27 perches, situated in Block XVI, Tiriraukawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 84, D.P. 556, being part Lot 1, Ohingaiti Block, being also part of Otairi No. 1d Block. All certificate of title, Volume 66, folio 181, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of October 1957.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land first described in the Schedule hereto together with and subject as to part to the rights of way created in and by memoranda of transfer Nos. 165429 and 165433, Canterbury Land Registry, the land secondly described in the said Schedule together with and subject to the rights of way created in and by memoranda of transfer Nos. 165428 and 165432, Canterbury Land Registry, and the land thirdly described in the said Schedule, is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of November 1957.

ALL those pieces of land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

0 1 1·5 Part Town Sections 757 and 759; edged red on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123678 (S.O. 7766) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged as above mentioned.

Easements Over Land Taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes
in the City of Lower Hutt

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that easements are hereby taken over the land described in the Schedule hereto for post and telegraph purposes, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, full and free right, liberty, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, workmen, invitees, and licensees from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land in Proclamation No. 4396, Wellington Land Registry, and also the full and free right, liberty, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of drainage pipes under, along, and over the said land, and to use the said line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of water, such easements to be held appurtenant to the land described in Proclamation No. 4396, Wellington Land Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of November 1957.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154589 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
